Deerfield Celebrates 250 years
Throughout 2016 the people of Deerfield celebrated the town's 250th anniversary with a series of events, including re-enactments, a Firemen's Muster, Baseball, a beard-growing contest, and a parade. Plus lots of delicious home-cooked food. Here are a few highlights from January:
Selectman Andy Robertson and his wife, Melissa (who supplied these photos)
Deerfield's own Jack Hutchinson
Nancy Brown McKinney and, well, who can resist a man in a kilt?
More marvelous costumes.
There was a re-enactiment of Deerfield's petition to the Governor for incorporation.
Music was provided
There was lively dancing
And a delicious buffet.
